Stewardship

giving financially

Jesus talks about money almost more than anything else, and rightly so. Our relationship with money is tricky. Contributing to the work of the church and stewarding our gifts is our response to God’s generosity. Giving to God through the church not only allows ministry to happen, but invites us into a deeper relationship with a generous God. Giving to St. Martin’s supports both our local ministry, missions throughout our synod (www.gulfcoastsynod.org), and our Churchwide church (www.elca.org).  You are invited to be a part of our mission of Serving God. Loving All. Changing Lives.

Financial giving is one aspect of giving back to God what God has first given us. Teaching church school, bringing snacks for Sunday hospitality, or reading the Bible during worship are a few of the many ways God might be calling you to share your gifts with the greater faith community. See the service ministries page for a more detailed description of some of our mission opportunities that change lives in our local community, our nation and even our world. We invite you to get more connected to St. Martin’s and our ministries that allow us live out our mission of: Serving God. Loving All. Changing Lives.
