give to those in need

St. Martin’s started their Grace Bags project on Sept. 9 2018, “God’s Work. Our Hands.” Sunday, an annual day of service for ELCA churches. The goal of this project was to assemble bags full of basic necessities for those in need in the community and our congregation went above and beyond, putting together over 100 bags that Sunday. This project is ongoing as the Grace Bags are available to take home every Sunday after worship. A freewill offering of $3-$6 is suggested per Grace Bag. These offerings will sustain the project going forward, paying for the necessities needed for the bags while the Confirmation class will put new bags together from time to time. We hope you will use these Grace Bags to do God’s work in our community.
